This is a selection from my project 'Werden wir fliegen wie ein Phoenix'. It is a meditation on my German identity living in Rotterdam, a city that was bombarded heavily by Nazi-Germany in WWII. The project further explores feelings of loneliness and isolation but also the importance of connection and community.
